Police are investigating Vancouver's third homicide of 2012 after a woman was stabbed to death at the Cobalt Motor Hotel on Main Street early Monday morning.
Few details have been confirmed, but it appears the victim was among three people stabbed after a fight broke in a hotel room at around 6 a.m.
Her name and age have not been released.
The survivors, a man and a woman, were taken to hospital with unknown injuries. Witnesses say the woman was able to walk around and speak to officers after the incident.
Police are expected to release more information at a press conference Monday.
