SAN FRANCISCO - Canadians will be able to buy the new products announced today by Apple but as usual, they'll cost a little more north of the border.

Perhaps the most anticipated new tech toy is an updated version of Apple TV, which will let users rent movies and TV shows online and stream content from a computer.

It will cost $119 in Canada compared to $99 in the U.S. It will be available "late this month" and preorders are being taken online.

Apple also rolled out a new line of iPods and says it's making the biggest changes to its MP3 players ever.

A new Shuffle will cost $59 in Canada, $10 more than in the U.S., while the Nano is also $10 pricier in Canada at $159.

The new iPod Touch models are $20 more expensive here, ranging from $249 for the eight-gigabyte model to $429 for the 64GB model.

The iPod Classic, with 160 gigabytes of storage, is $279 in Canada, compared to $249 in the U.S.

The iPods will be available starting next week.
