Police have issued a warning to parents and children in Chilliwack, B.C., after a man tried to lure a teenage girl into his car on Friday afternoon.
Chilliwack Mounties say a man driving a white VW Jetta approached the girl near the intersection of Tyson and Watson Roads.
The man told the girl to get in his car, but she walked away and the suspect drove off.
The driver is described as a South Asian man with a green turban.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has information on the identity of the driver, is asked to call the Chilliwack RCMP at 604-792-4611 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
