The RCMP admits they are baffled. Jodi Henrikson vanished almost 10 days ago after a late night house party on Bowen Island.
Jodi Henrickson has no cell phone, no job, no bank account and only had a little spending money when she left home on June 18th, telling her parents that she was going camping at Cultus Lake.
But she was last seen between 4:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on June 20th, leaving a house party, near the Bowen Island community school.
Bowen Island is a 20 minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay, a northern suburb of Vancouver.
Jodi Henrickson is a Facebook junky. After the 20th of June, all Internet communication stopped cold- which everyone who knows her says is highly unusual.
"This is not Jodi. She would have phoned somebody by now. She would [have] phoned her best friend and said, 'I'm okay.' We just need to know where she is," said Milly Fincham, a family friend.
Yesterday, North Shore Search & Rescue, and the RCMP along with their Marine and Air services, searched four specific areas and failed to find any clues.
There's no surveillance video evidence of Jodi leaving Bowen as a foot passenger, although she could have been in a vehicle- unseen. At this point, the belief is the teenager is still somewhere on Bowen.
In the middle of an interview with CTV, her cousin got a call from Jodi's mother, Nancy who said:
"We will not stop looking for you. Please come home. Call. To the young people on Bowen Island. If you know something please let us know."
