With Metro Vancouver's real estate market on a slide, real estate agents are being forced to get creative.
The latest high-tech way agents are trying to get your attention is through online video streaming.
Agent Kye Grace is live on the internet for a 72 hour live open house to sell a million dollar loft in Vancouver's Gastown neighbourhood. He calls it 'Kye TV'.
"I've never done anything like this before, I don't think anything like this has been done in the industry," he says.
"It's a 2,700 square foot loft. The building was actually built in 1910."
While at times it's not very exciting, like when Grace stops to eat breakfast, he insists he is not selling himself.
"Somebody referred to it as a nutty stunt and to a degree that was part of the element I was looking for."
For three days, the agent will chat with prospective buyers anywhere in the world -- about anything.
Within a couple of hours of launching his online open house Friday, curious shoppers come filing in, asking questions about the property.
Grace knows his actions might be considered extreme, but thinks it might be necessary to sell the property. It's already been on the market for two years, and he's the third agent to take on the listing.
"It's a tough market to sell places right now," he says. "You really got to hustle and get after it right now."

hmmm....2 years, 3 agents, has anyone thought that instead of trying to think of creative ways to attract buyers that they should have lowered the price a really long time ago.

You can have all the publicity in the world. If you really want to do the client a favor get it to a price that will cause it to sell.
