He survived the worst shooting in Vancouver, B.C.'s history, but is now identified as the victim of the city's latest targeted hit.

Vancouver police have named 27-year-old Hung Van Bui as the man found slumped behind the wheel of a car in east Vancouver Monday night.

Police say Bui was in a parking lot near Fraser Street and 65th Avenue when multiple shooters approached his car and opened fire. At least 20 bullet casings were found on the road.

Constable Tim Fanning says Bui was a survivor of last year's Fortune Happiness Restaurant shooting, in which two people were killed and six others injured.

Fanning says the man was known to police and was involved in the drug trade.

Investigators say there is no doubt Bui was targeted Monday night but they have not made any arrests in Vancouver's 12th homicide of the year and say they have no suspects.
