Q: What happened to the CTV News at Six live streaming feed?
Sorry if you got a little bit frustrated looking for the live streaming news feed. As you have noticed, it is no longer available. Why? Well the short answer is along with being a very costly endeavor our research told us that visitors to our website prefer to choose the stories that are of interest to them, and skip through the rest. However, we know many of you enjoy watching CTV News at Six online. We have made the first segment with all of the day's top stories available from the start of the newscast to the first commercial break. The most recent newscast is always available in the video player. If you want to see a newscast from a specific day, just click on the "Click here to watch CTV News at Six" button directly below the video player.
Q: Can I find local news stories that aired earlier in the week online?
Absolutely -- just type key words into the search box at the top of the page. In addition, many of our feature segments will have a month's worth of stories displayed online. After a month, those stories will be archived forever on the site.
Q: The text online is too small; what can I do?
Every story online has some user controls where you can increase the font size to make it bigger or smaller. You can also add comments to stories, link the story to your personal social networking site (like FaceBook, digg it, etc).
Q: Where do I send a news tip/story suggestion?
Click on NEWSTIPS button just below our video player and fill out the form. You can also call our assignment desk at 604-609-5800. To contact a specific department, (like Olsen On Your Side, Your Health, Sports, Weather, etc.) we've listed them on the right side of this page.

Click on BC Contests and find the specific contest you entered to see if you are a winner. You might have to keep checking throughout the day. Good Luck!
Q: How do I submit my child's Weather Art of the Day?
You can upload their art by clicking on "email your art" button located in the Weather Picture of The Day that is found on the BC Weather page. Artwork should be sent in the .jpg file format, be less than 1MB in size and must include the talented artist's name, age, school, and city.
Q: I have a great picture for your photo gallery, how do I send this in?
Email bcwebmaster@ctv.ca along with a brief description of where the photo was taken and who snapped it. It should be in the .jpg file format and be under 1MB in size.
Q: Can I send a community event/public service announcement?
