Action: Open a window
Why: Allowing fresh air in the house.
Action: Light a candle
Why: Odours, atmosphere, etc.
Action: Grab an empty shopping bag, laundry basket or something and pick-up everything and throw into a closet.
Why: Get the clutter out of the way
Action: Turn off the television and put on a background CD.
Why: Ambiance, more social
Action: Pass the vacuum cleaner around the room.
Why: Makes the place look fresh and clean.
Action: Clean the guest bathroom, including emptying the garbage.
Why: Fresh and clean powder room.
Action: Close the window!
Action: Swiffer! (But only if you have time)
Emergency entertaining kit:
- Cheese and crackers
- Crudite and dip
- Holiday cards, emergency gifts i.e. candles, gift certificates, body moisturizer etc.
- Candles
- Room spray
- Wine and Spirits
- Juice and carbonated Beverages! (most often forgotten)
