The Home Depot Canada is recalling all its holiday LED light strings by "Home Accents Holiday" and "Martha Stewart Living," because of the risk of electrical shock or fire.

The company says there has been one reported incident of exposed wiring on the lights.

Customers should stop using the products immediately and return them to their local Home Depot store for a full refund.

Around 166,000 products have been sold across Canada between Oct. 1 and Nov. 18 -- most of them in Ontario. The models include:

Earlier in the month, The Home Depot Canada voluntarily recalled the LED light strings, saying at the time, there were no known safety issues with the use of the light. This recall is a mandatory recall from The Electrical Safety Authority, a non-for-profit corporation that is responsible for public electrical safety in Ontario.

Customers with questions can contact Home Depot at 1-800-668-2266 between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m, Monday to Friday, for more information on the recall.
