Police now believe that a 34-year-old woman found dead in an Abbotsford, B.C., apartment last week was murdered.
Amarjit Kaur Khosa was found dead in an apartment in the 32000-block of Austin Avenue around 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
An autopsy performed on Friday revealed evidence that Khosa was murdered, but police are not revealing how she was killed.
Investigators do not believe that the death is related to drugs, gangs or organized crime. Khosa was not known to police.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team is asking anyone who might have information about the killing to call police.
