Media got a preview of the thousands of pieces of merchandise, furniture and electronics leftover from Vancouver's Winter Olympic Games at bargain-bin prices.

At a warehouse in Delta, B.C., organizers are selling everything from kitchen supplies to the prop canoes used during the Closing Ceremony. Volunteers and employees have first dibs, but the sale will be open to the public on Saturday.

Organizers are only putting out 40 units of each product per day, so hot ticket items like laptops and LCD TVs will not sell out immediately – despite their low prices.

The 26" Panasonic LCD TV retails for around $400, but is going for $200 at the sale. Coat racks are $20, Olympic shirts are $10 and windshield scraper brushes are less than $2.

The sale will run daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the VANOC Main Distribution Centre at 7530 Hopcott Road.
