Ridge Meadows RCMP are asking the public to help locate two missing teens who haven't been seen since Wednesday night.
Deborah Gardner and Amber Jorgensen, both 16-years-old, were last seen at a Maple Ridge mall around 8:00 p.m.
Both girls had told their parents they were going to run away.
"These girls have not done anything wrong," Insp. Derren Lench said in a statement.
"But we need to know that they're safe. They also need to know that their parents are very worried, and they would like them to contact them right away."
Gardner is described as Caucasian, 5-7 tall, 110 lbs with shoulder-length black hair and hazel eyes.
Jorgensen is described as Caucasian, 5-8 tall, 105 lbs. with dark blonde shoulder-length hair and blue eyes.
Both girls were last seen wearing plaid lumberjack shirts, one red and the other blue. Both had knitted wool caps on and were wearing spandex leggings.
Gardner had a purple and blue snow boarder's back pack.
Anyone who sees either of the two girls is asked to contact Ridge Meadows RCMP at 604-463-6251.
