A three-year-old girl has become the latest victim of a cougar attack in Squamish, B.C.

The young girl was attacked on Tuesday night, just days after a number of leashed dogs were reportedly mauled by an emaciated cougar in the area.

The incident took place near the Brackendale neighbourhood at around 6:45 p.m.
