Two people are dead after a fire ravaged a home in Terrace, B.C. early Wednesday morning.

Fire Chief Peter Weeber says that around 5:00 a.m. crews arrived at a home in the city's east side to find it fully engulfed in flames. Once firefighters were able to get inside, they found the bodies.

"At this point we have very little information (on the cause)," says Terrace Fire Chief Peter Weeber.

RCMP, the Fire Commissioners office, the coroner and the Terrace Fire Department will meet later today to begin their investigation.

The RCMP have not yet released the names of the dead.
