A British Columbia man has been charged with causing a disturbance on an WestJet flight
Winnipeg police say a male passenger on a flight from Vancouver to Winnipeg Wednesday, started making trouble and damaged some overhead panels inside the aircraft.
Once the plane was on the ground in Winnipeg, police arrested Daniel Ernest Balmos, 52.
He remains in custody on charges related to mischief and causing a disturbance.
When contacted by CTV, a WestJet official was not immediately available to comment on the disturbance.
